Welcome to Home Farm Primary School
Sowing the seeds of success and bringing learning to life
I believe that Home Farm Primary should be the first choice for all parents / carers to ensure their children experience a happy, healthy and productive start to their school lives. It is the school's ethos that every child that comes to us is entitled to receive the best education possible, in a caring, supportive and stimulating environment. The school works as a community to ensure that each child achieves their maximum potential, and that all children benefit from a truly rewarding and rounded educational experience. We invite parents to share the responsibility for their children's education by working together with us.
We love to meet prospective parents / carers and children in order that they can experience for themselves the exciting, progressive and happy environment we have to offer. We offer tours for all prospective parents and children looking to join us when spaces become available or for each new Reception class intake.
The governors, staff and I are dedicated in offering a school where safety is valued, world and community culture is explored with an overarching emphasis on learning through exciting opportunities. We are proud of our school and believe that we can offer all of our children the very best start in life. We hope the information on our website is useful for you. Our office staff are always willing and available to answer your queries. Come and visit us... we think you'll agree that Home Farm Primary School is a pretty special place for your child to be!
Sports Relief 2014
You may remember that back in March we supported Sports Relief with a sponsored run and a staff versus students netball match. We raised a fantastic £1,478.13 - a big thanks for all of your support.
The last day of the summer term is Tuesday 22nd July. We wish all Home Farm families a safe and enjoyable break. The children return to school on Wednesday 3rd September 2014.
Open Days for families with children starting school in September 2015
Here at Home Farm Primary School we ensure that our children receive the best education possible, in a caring, supportive and stimulating environment. If your child is starting school in September 2015, and you are interested in finding out more about what Home Farm has to offer, come along to our Open Day for prospective parents. Our Open Day is taking place on Tuesday 21st October 2014. You can meet the Headteacher and take part in a tour of the school. Tours can be booked starting at 9:15am, 10:45am, 11:15am, 1:45pm and 2:15pm. Please contact the school office on 01206 577430 to book your place. We prefer children not to attend at this stage if possible; children securing a place in the school will have other opportunities to come and visit before starting with us. You can find more information about the school by downloading a copy of our prospectus.
School dinner menu
In the first week of the Autumn term, we will be serving meals from our new Autumn term menu which you can download here. On 3rd, 4th and 5th September 2014 there will be no pre-ordering - the children can order a school dinner each morning. Pre-ordering will resume on Monday 8th September 2014. School dinners for all children in Classes R, 1 and 2 will be free. Meals for children in Classes 3, 4, 5 and 6 cost £2 a day, which must be paid in advance or on the day the meal is taken.
Sports Day photographs
We have a range of photographs of this year's Sports Day which are available to parents to buy. You can buy a digital copy of each photograph for £2.50 per image, or a 7" x 5" print copy for £5.00 per image. If you would like to buy a picture, please download and complete our Sports Day photographs order form 2014 and forward it with your payment to the school office. You will find the photograph code in the bottom left hand corner of each image in the format Sports Day 2014 xx.jpg. Orders will be processed in September.
